At the Spanish national team level, where he won the Under-21 European Championship and Nations League with them, Nacho forms an ongoing part of the 2024 UEFA European Championship in Germany.

Thus, Nacho closed his Real Madrid cycle as a magnificent captain who conquered the La Decimoquinta at Wembley, an event with which, at the level of players, he became the fifth player in history to conquer 6 Cups in Europe—the maximum number of trophies conquered within the history of the club.
