The revelations have been made in the charge sheet filed by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) against six terrorists of LeM, including Malik on August 4 before a Special NIA court in Jammu. Taliban shooting kids in front of their parents

On Friday, Taliban terrorists killed Dawa Khan Menapal, head of the Afghan government's media and information centre, in Kabul's Darul Aman Road. Taliban's spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid claimed responsibility and lauded the terrorists over Twitter. According to local media reports, the Taliban has murdered more than 40 civilians in Malistan in the past one week.
Russia cites India's 'lack of influence' over Taliban for not inviting it for troika talks

Russia's Special Presidential Envoy for Afghanistan, Zamir Kabulov, had made it clear on July 20 in Moscow that India cannot participate in the format of the expanded group of three because it did not have any influence on the Taliban. India has not been invited to the extended troika talks on Afghanistan convened by Russia set to be held on August 11.
2 soldiers, 36 militants killed after attack foiled in Afghanistan

The atatck erupted as hundreds of Taliban militants armed with guns and heavy weapons, including rocket propelled grenades, attacked Sherzad district while trying to capture the suburban district in the southeast of Nangarhar, provincial government spokesman Attahullah Khogiani told Xinhua news agency. Four Afghan soldiers and 52 militants were also wounded during the fighting that had lasted for hours.
Tirumurti warns against terrorists getting chem arms in heated UNSC debate

Afghan Defence Minister targeted in car bomb attack

Local media reports said since Muhammadi was not at the residence at the time of the explosion, neither he nor his family members were harmed. The Afghan Acting Defence Minister in a video clip confirmed that he and his family members were safe but added that several of his bodyguards were injured. The attack left five dead and 20 more wounded.
Afghan watchdog reports 80% spike in civilian casualties

In its latest report released on Sunday, the watchdog added that 1,594 security incidents occurred during this period. In the first six months of 2020, according to the watchdog, 1,213 civilians were killed and 1,744 injured, reports TOLO News. The Commission report noted that during this period 154 women were killed and 350 were wounded. These numbers in 2020 were 126 killed and 171 wounded.
