Serving a treat to her followers, Alia shared a bunch of pictures from the mehendi ceremony on her social media. Taking to her Instagram on Saturday, Alia shared a series of pictures which show her, Ranbir, Neetu Kapoor and her friends and other wedding attendees in a celebratory spirit drenched in happiness.

Gathbandhan is a ritual in Hindu weddings in which the bride's 'pallu' is tied to the groom's scarf. The ritual symbolises the union of the couple for eternity. From the groom's side, mother Neetu Kapoor, sister Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and cousin Karisma Kapoor performed the rituals, as Ranbir's other cousin, Kareena Kapoor Khan, stood by the newly-wed couple's side.

The star couple grooved to the beats of A.R. Rahman composition �Chaiya Chaiya' sung by Sukhwinder and penned by Gulzar. In a video that surfaced on the Internet shows the couple celebrating their special day as they danced to the track. While Alia can be seen wearing a beautiful red ethnic wear, her husband Ranbir donned a white kurta pajama which he rounded off with a red coloured Nehru jacket to twin with his lady love.

Riddhima shared a picture on Instagram, giving fans a glimpse of what she wore for her 'bhai ki shaadi' on Thursday. She looked every inch gorgeous dresses in a dazzling silver saree by Manish Malhotra paired with statement jewelry. For the caption, she wrote: "Mere bhai ki shaadi (heart emoji)."

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are finally married now. The couple tied knot on April 14, making it the biggest wedding of the year.
