Explaining his absence from the big screen since the Sanjay Dutt biopic 'Sanju' was released in 2018, Ranbir said: "After 'Sanju', I was working on 'Shamshera' and 'Brahmastra'. These two big-budget movies took time and then my dad was unwell and a pandemic happened."

The listeners are perplexed at the use of the 'love storiya' phrase in the song, which sticks out like a sore thumb. What compounds the audience's odd listening experience is the fact that the lines have been penned by none other than Amitabh Bhattacharya, the man who is known for his knack of writing unusual lyrics.

Ranbir, who is coming to the big screen four years after he delivered the blockbuster Sanju', is pitted against Sanjay Dutt who is playing an evil, merciless, cold-hearted brute force of nature, Shuddh Singh. The film has a Kalaripayattu-inspired edgy fight sequence which has been directed by Franz Spilhaus, who has previously choreographed films like the Denzel Washington starrer Safe House and Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's blockbuster 'War'.

While having a conversation with Bollywood Bubble, Ranbir revealed that rumors and labels do reach him but he takes them with a pinch of salt. He also said that he is fine with labeled as “casanova or cheater” as people made this image of him after listening to others’ points of view. But they never thought of listening to his point of view.

Ranbir had come to receive Alia, who was away shooting for her debut Hollywood project in Europe for the last two months. While having an interview with Hindustan Times, Ranbir said “Alia and I, as a married couple, we thought that it would just seem right to tell the world, because we felt it was the right time. We just wanted to share the joy and the news with the world and there was no other thought to it.” Ranbir and Alia tied the knot in April this year in Mumbai. Before taking the plunge, they dated for quite some time after falling in love while working on Brahmastra.

Before calling Alia his Dal Chawal, his ex-girlfriend Deepika Padukone was Dal Chawal for him. Back in 2015, during one promotion event of their movie Tamasha, Ranbir publicly called Deepika his Dal Chawal and said he finds comfort while working with her. The Sanju actor had said, “Deepika is my comfort. She is my daal chawal. When I'm with her I feel like I've come back home.”

A recent report by Etimes, showed Ranbir giving some parenting tip and revealing his desire to get the name of his first baby inked on his body. He had said, “I might get a number 8 tattooed or my going to be children’s name.” Now when Alia is pregnant with her first child, there are chances that Ranbir might ink the name of his kid.
