Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are finally married now. The couple tied knot on April 14, making it the biggest wedding of the year. The venue of the marriage was Ranbir's Vastu residence. Their marriage was attended by just 28 people including close family and friends. Ahead of her son Ranbir Kapoor's wedding with 'Dear Zindagi' star Alia Bhatt, yesteryear actress Neetu Kapoor shared pictures from the pre-wedding festivities on her social media.
Taking to her Instagram, she shared a picture of her mehendi clad hand in the story section. What caught everyone's attention was the name of her husband and late actor Rishi Kapoor encased in the mehendi design.

Organisers of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's wedding are leaving no stone unturned to ensure privacy at the festivities.
While everyone from the industry remained tight-lipped about the intimate wedding, now that guests have started showing up for the functions, they are being closely monitored.
The attendees at Alia's mehendi function had to cover their phone cameras with stickers provided by the security personnel at Ranbir's Vastu residence in the Bandra area of Mumbai. The security sealed the cameras of anyone attending the function with a removable red coloured sticker that would help avoid live streams, photos or videos from the venue.
The security personnel also requested the cops to intervene when things didn't seem to be under control in terms of crowd. The officers of the Mumbai Police spoke with the paparazzi stationed at the venue and issued strict instructions to them to not block the cars of the attendees for photos or bytes.

With Alia Bhatt's mehendi wrapping up on Wednesday, the focus has shifted to the marriage ceremony on Wednesday. The families of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are gearing up for the wedding ceremony of the power couple slated for Thursday, April 14.
The baraat procession of members of the Kapoor family will move from Krishna Raj bungalow, the under-construction future home of Ranbir and Alia named after the late Raj Kapoor's wife, from one part of Mumbai's tony Pali Hill neighbourhood to Ranbir's current home, Vastu, in another part of the same area. The two addresses are separated by less than a couple of kilometres.
Ranbir had moved to Vastu from the ancestral home of the Kapoors in Chembur in 2016. Vastu's interiors, incidentally, had been designed by Gauri Khan.

As per media reports, timeless Punjabi chartbuster 'Mera Laung Gavacha', the Asha Bhosle and Shamshad Begum classic 'Kajra Mohabbat Wala' and 'Dilbaro' ('Raazi' 2018), which features Alia and her mother Soni Razdan, are some of the songs that were a part of the playlist at Alia's mehendi.
The hush-hush ceremony has grabbed the headlines ever since the news about the power couple's wedding broke out. During the day, a 24 carat gold bouquet wedding gift from Surat jeweller gifted to Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt was also seen entering the venue premises.

A white coloured air-conditioned van with its blinds drawn was also seen arriving at the premises, perhaps for the purpose of bringing in a couple of wedding attendees.
