Talking about the album, Ranbir said in a statement: "The response to the film and the music by global audiences has been truly overwhelming and the album launching during this festive season has added an even more celebratory touch. I hope that fans will love the new tracks from 'Brahmastra' just as much as they loved our other songs and the movie."

The singer explained how he bagged the song: "I was involved in the process of 'Brahmastra' for a while and initially I got to sing 'Rasiya' as a part of the background score in the film which was really appreciated and loved by the audience. After that Pritam da (music director Pritam Chakraborty) called me to sing it again as a full audio song."

According to data being provided by the trade media, Ayan Mukherji's ambitious film- 'Brahmastra: Part 1 - Shiva' has garnered Rs 125 crore over its first weekend -- Rs 37 crore on the opening day, followed by Rs 42 crore on the second day, and finally, Rs 46 crore on Sunday, according to 'Bollywood Hungama'.

Reacting to the development that took place on Tuesday night, the state Home Minister Narottam Mishra said, "No one stopped them (Ranbir and Alia) from worshipping at the temple, they themselves decided not to go there, despite requests by local administration to go there and offer prayers. If they were stopped, then how other members of the team offered their prayers in side the temple?."

"I was feeling really bad," Ayan said. "Honestly, Ranbir and Alia did not come with me for Darshan to the temple. I had gone to Mahakal before the motion poster was released and I had told myself that I would definitely go again before the release of the film and both of them were very keen to come with me."

Alia, who made her debut with the 2012 film 'Student Of The Year', has had quite an eventful journey in cinema as she has constantly delivered terrific performances one after the other but, after all these years, Ranbir's favourite performance of Alia remains her second film, 'Highway'.

Alia and Ranbir are currently in Italy for a holiday. The actress shared a video from a picturesque location. The video features 'Shamshera' actor Ranbir Kapoor soaking in the sun as he soon starts swinging to the beats of 'Deva Deva' song. The actor can be seen dressed in vacation casuals and wearing a pair of sunglasses as he sports messy hair.

Titled 'Deva Deva', the song exudes spirituality and a distinctly upbeat rhythm. It has been sung by Arijit Singh and Jonita Gandhi. The song encapsulates the magical moment in the film where Shiva, played by Ranbir, finds the power within.

Rashmika and Ranbir are currently shooting for the film in Mumbai. Taking to Instagram stories, the actress shared a picture of the film's director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who earlier directed the Shahid Kapoor-starrer hit 'Kabir Singh'. In the picture, Ranbir can also be seen making a cameo with his hands forming 'The Korean heart' which Rashmika often makes to greet people.

He also opened up about rumours that he might be having twins with his wife Alia Bhatt. Ranbir was interacting with the media along with the cast of 'Shamshera', including Vani Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and director Karan Malhotra. The song 'Kesariya' created a lot of controversy due to its lyrics and use of English words like 'love storiyan'.
