Shoes hurled at Rajathan's minister at Bainsla's ash immersion programme
As per reports, as soon as Chandna came to deliver his speech, people started protesting and hurled shoes at him, raising 'Sachin Pilot Zindabad' slogans. Taking to Twitter, Ashok Chandna said: "Today a wonderful sight was seen when Rajendra Rathod, (then cabinet member) who ordered the killing of 72 persons was applauded when he came on the stage and shoes were thrown at those whose family members went to jail during the (Gurjar reservation) agitation."
Poster war breaks out in state BJP ahead of Amit Shah's visit to Rajasthan
On Thursday, a day before Union Home Minister Amit Shah's scheduled visit, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje's followers put up her posters in the city, which did not have the picture of Jodhpur MP Gajendra Singh Shekhawat. The latter's followers also installed posters which did not have Raje's pictures.

During his visit to Ahmedabad on Wednesday, Gehlot said, "Right now, the party high command has given me two responsibilities. The first is to work as the senior observer for Gujarat, and the other as Chief Minister of Rajasthan. I will do both. I will put all my efforts to ensure that Congress retains power in Rajasthan." When asked about his name doing the rounds as the next Congress President, Gehlot said, "While there have been talks on these lines in the media for some time now, no one knows what will be the verdict.

Rajasthan Cong MLA calls minister biggest mining mafia, threatens self-immolation
Politics has intensified in Rajasthan after the self-immolation bid by a seer in Bharatpur district on Wednesday. The seer set himself on fire to protest against illegal mining in Pasopa village of the district. Singh wrote to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot stating that if the mining mafia is to be controlled in the state, the mines minister should be sacked immediately. He wrote: "I have written many letters to you on Sorsan and Godavan protection. If the only way to stop illegal mining is the path of the sadhu of Bharatpur, then please wait for me to follow this effective route and talk to you."
