The re-entry into West Bengal will occur through Debipur, Ratua, located in the Malda district's northern part, around 11:15 am, according to party leaders.

Gandhi highlighted the demand for a caste census for social justice, comparing it to an X-ray of society. He emphasized the under-representation of OBCs in bureaucracy, corporate houses, and media. The Congress leader accused Nitish Kumar of compromising with the BJP against social justice, following pressure to conduct a caste survey.

Gandhi's visit to Bihar follows closely on the heels of a significant development where former ally Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, rejoined the BJP-led NDA, leaving the Congress in a challenging position.

After spending the night in Sonapur, Rahul ji initiated the day's journey at 8 am, and as of now, he is in Islampur, where he is expected to deliver a speech to a gathered audience.

Addressing reporters in Sonitpur district, Sarma asserted, "I don't just say things. The duplicate's name, and how it was done—I will share all details. Just wait for a few days." He mentioned that he would be in Dibrugarh and, upon his return to Guwahati, would disclose the identity and address of the alleged duplicate.

He emphasized that the yatra, led by Rahul Gandhi, was a movement aimed at safeguarding the Constitution and was unrelated to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Chowdhury expressed disappointment with the lack of cooperation from the state government and highlighted that the yatra's route and itinerary remained unchanged except for minor modifications.

Commencing a day after Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee's declaration that her party would independently contest the upcoming Lok Sabha polls in West Bengal, the Bengal leg of the Yatra will unfold.

Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, a one-time rival of Singh within the state Congress, remarked that the public had repeatedly addressed Singh's concerns on this matter. Singh, during a press conference, raised questions about the uniqueness of India's use of EVMs, contrasting it with countries like Australia, Nigeria, Venezuela, and Brazil.

Sarma, speaking on the matter, mentioned that the FIR has been filed, and a Special Investigation Team (SIT) will conduct the investigation. He added that Rahul Gandhi is expected to be arrested after the Lok Sabha elections, which are due in a few months.

The Yatra will traverse various districts in West Bengal, including Jalpaiguri, Alipurduar, Uttar Dinajpur, Darjeeling, and Malda.
