North Korea reveals Kim Jong-un's daughter for first time

The North's state media reported that Kim inspected the launch of a Hwasong-17, the country's largest ballistic missile, at Pyongyang International Airport on Friday, reports Yonhap News Agency. He was present at the scene "together with his beloved daughter and wife", the North's official Korean Central News Agency said. Photos released by the news agency showed his daughter in a white jacket and black pants standing and walking together with Kim in front of the missile that sat on a launch truck.
North Korea fires intercontinental ballistic missile

The Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS) said it detected the launch from the Sunan area in Pyongyang at 10.15 a.m., and that the missile flew around 1,000 km at an apogee of some 6,100 km at a top speed of Mach 22, reports Yonhap News Agency. The launch is presumed to have involved the Hwasong-17 ICBM, according to a South Korean defence source.
North Korean missile fired last week similar to one used by Russia in Ukraine'

The Ministry announced the results of an inter-agency analysis of the debris of a missile that North Korea fired southward on November 2 past the Northern Limit Line (NLL) in the East Sea, reports Yonhap News Agency. The debris is around 3 metres long and 2 metres wide, assessed to be that of an "SA-5" surface-to-air missile, given its appearance and feature, it said.

In a statement issued by the vice director of the Military Foreign Affairs of the Ministry of National Defence, Pyongyang warned Washington against spreading such a "plot-breeding story", reports Yonhap News Agency. "We regard such moves of the US as part of its hostile attempt to tarnish the image of the DPRK in the international arena by invoking the illegal 'sanctions resolution' of the UN Security Council against the DPRK," he said, referring to the North by its official name, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
North Korea threatens to take 'overwhelming' military steps against South Korea, US

In a "report" carried by Pyongyang's official Korean Central News Agency, the General Staff of the Korean People's Army (KPA) also said it conducted a four-day "military operations" last week against the Vigilant Storm exercise, claiming to have fired two strategic missiles just 80 km off the southeastern coast of Ulsan, reports Yonhap News Agency.
