The Congress on Sunday said that the process of induction was started by the UPA government and former Union Minister for environment Jairam Ramesh released a letter to prove his point. "This was the letter that launched Project Cheetah in 2009. Our PM is a pathological liar. I couldn't lay my hands on this letter yesterday because of my preoccupation with the #BharatJodoYatra".

A board has been placed on the side of a clean road at the entrance of the village, displaying the rules which are - 'Shramdan', 'Nashabandi', ban on open defecation, prohibition on leaving cattle unattended, ban on cutting trees and plants, ban on dowry system, plastic ban and deep boring ban. These are the rules, which the people of the village had imposed on themselves about five years ago with mutual consent.

On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi said, "Cheetahs had become extinct from the country in 1952, but for decades, no meaningful effort was made to rehabilitate them. Today, as we celebrate 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav', the country has started rehabilitating cheetahs with a new energy."

Kangana Ranaut shared a picture and penned a note for him praising him as a leader and said that nothing could erase his legacy. She took to her Instagram story where she shared a picture of herself shaking hands with the Prime Minister. Alongside the image, she wrote: "From selling tea on railway platforms as a child to becoming the most powerful man on this planet."

A official of Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister's Office (CMO) said that CM Khandu apprised PM Modi about the Kameng Hydro Electric Project, executed by the state-owned North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) with an estimated cost of around Rs 8,000 crores and about the greenfield airport, commissioned by the Airport Authority of India at a cost of Rs 650 crore.

Addressing dignitaries after inaugurating the International Dairy Federation World Dairy Summit 2022 in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, PM Modi said that as compared to 2 per cent production growth at the global level, India is clocking 6 per cent growth in milk production.

Prime Minister Modi made the observation while inaugurating 'Centre-State Science Conclave' in Ahmedabad via video-conferencing. Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister highlighted that the organisation of this conclave is a clear example of Sabka Prayas.

"Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II will be remembered as a stalwart of our times. She provided inspiring leadership to her nation and people. She personified dignity and decency in public life. Pained by her demise. My thoughts are with her family and people of UK in this sad hour", said PM Modi in a tweet while paying tribute to her.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee also informed that Chief Secretary H.K. Dwivedi has already replied to the invitation on this count. Wanting know why the Union government is so 'angry' with her, Banerjee said, "What is the reason for such anger? They had earlier broken Netaji's statue in New Delhi."
