When Zelensky was asked to clarify what he meant when he spoke about the risk of a World War III in the event of a failure to negotiate with Putin, Zelensky said: "This means that he (Putin) was not going to end this war. His plan - in which Ukraine is perceived as an intermediate step to the final result - is to occupy the Baltic states, states that were part of the Soviet Union. (He is considering) other states that used to be under control of the Soviet Army and Soviet Union," Ukrayinska Pravda reported.

The US President said Putin's "back is against the wall and now he's talking about new false flags he's setting up including, asserting that we in America have biological as well as chemical weapons in Europe – simply not true. I guarantee you", the Guardian reported. "They are also suggesting that Ukraine has biological and chemical weapons in Ukraine. That's a clear sign he's considering using both of those. He's already used chemical weapons in the past."

Russian will not put on pause its military action against Ukraine while conducting peace talks

Russia claims it destroyed a Kiev shopping centre used for rocket launchers

Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for the Russian Defence Ministry, said that in Vynohradar district on the outskirts of Kiev, Ukrainian nationalist units covered residential buildings for several days and fired at the Russian military with MLRS, RT reported. According to the ministry, Ukrainian units used the area of a nearby shopping centre as a large base for storing rocket-propelled ammunition, as well as reloading multiple launch rocket systems.
