In a Disney+ Hotstar promotional video KJo shared on social media, SRK is shown on the balcony of his Mumbai villa, surveying his fans gathered outside in their thousands. The actor takes pride in the fact that he has so many fans, unlike others, but his secretary, played by actor Rajesh Jaispipes up to say that it may be true but "you never know about the future because all the actors now have their films released on OTT".

The filmmaker revealed that he would have always upped his own game in fashion if he was on the show which airs 24x7. "If I were one of the contestants, I'd always be overdressed, even while sleeping, and remain in the headlines," Karan said. This is the first time Karan is hosting a season of 'Bigg Boss', which streams on Voot. Karan is anchoring the drama for the six weeks run of 'Bigg Boss OTT'.

Sofia wants 'Bigg Boss OTT' host Karan Johar to take over the television telecast as well. "It was amazing to watch Karan Johar for a change hosting the 'Bigg Boss OTT' show. Salman's aura is no more as strong as earlier. He should retire as he over acts sometimes. Karan was fun as he seemed to be real and knew to present himself in a better way compared to Salman Khan," she said.

In the episode, he will share some interesting anecdotes about legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar during the recording of the title track of "Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham". There were four versions of the song, one main version and three to four sad versions that play throughout the film. So, our plan was that Lata ji would come and sing the main track and then come another day and sing the other versions.

"Staying away from my kids is my biggest FOMO, they are the source of my happiness. Not being around them for long is killing," Karan said, while talking about his kids. Karan is all set to host the drama for the six-week run of 'Bigg Boss OTT'. It will stream on Voot from August 8. The first confirmed contestant of the show is playback singer Neha Bhasin.

"My mom and I are huge 'Bigg Boss' fans and wouldn't miss it for a day. As a viewer, it keeps me hugely entertained with dollops of drama. For decades now, I have always enjoyed hosting shows and now with 'Bigg Boss OTT'... it will surely be over-the-top," says Karan. The filmmaker also says that his mother, Hiroo Johar's dream has come true.
