The Popular Front of India (PFI) was launched on February 17, 2007, at the Empower India Conference in Bengaluru, Karnataka, by the Karnataka Forum for Dignity (KFD), National Development Front (NDF), Manitha Neethi Pasarai (MNP) and the South India Council. The NDF has been termed as a predecessor to PFI, including by PFI itself. The PFI's vision, according to its website includes empowerment of Muslims with a focus on reservations in education and employment.
ISIS-K says that its Kerala recruit killed in suicide bombing

In the latest issue of its propaganda magazine, Voice of Khurasan, the Sunni radical outfit has identified him by his pseudonym Najeeb Al Hindi from Kerala. Without giving more details, the paper said 23-year-old with a MTech degree, Najib had come on his own travelling from Kerala to Khorasan at the headquarter of the ISKP.

IPS Shweta Chauhan is currently serving as DCP at the Central District of the national capital. The mail, which was received at 1.37 a.m. on Sunday, further read that all information about the East Delhi BJP MP is being received.
BJP MP Gambhir receives death threat from ISIS-Kashmir

"We have received an Email from ISIS-Kashmir on the official ID of MP Gautam Gambhir on November 23 at 9.32 p.m.," read the complaint filed by Gambhir's PS. The mail, accessed by IANS, read: "We are going to kill you and your family." Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Shweta Chauhan said that an investigation into the matter is underway and the security arrangement outside the Delhi MP's residence has been tightened.
Poster of beheaded Shiva statue in ISIS online magazine causes outrage

Self-styled analyst and observer, Anshul Saxena has shared an image on Twitter. The magazine poster has put out a picture of a beheaded Shiva statue. The poster also shows the head being replaced by an ISIS flag. The idol in the poster resembles the 123 feet tall famous Shiva statue located in Murudeshwara town beach of Uttara Kannada district.
ISI trained terrorists were to blow bridges, railway tracks in India

According to official sources, the two suspected terrorists -- Osama and Zeeshan -- who were trained by the ISI in Thatta of Pakistan's Sindh province, were instructed to do a recce of railway tracks. The interrogation revealed that the duo was also asked to acquire the details of the timings and route of the trains with more passengers so that the blast results in a high number of casualties.

They (Pakistan) are dropping arms and heroin into Punjab via drones every other day. Efforts to create trouble in my state continue to take place.
