Esmaili, who was on board one of the other helicopters, said that President Raisi, Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and most other passengers in the hard landing of their aircraft were killed on the spot. 

"President Raisi, the foreign minister, and all passengers aboard the helicopter were killed in the crash,"  the senior Iranian official told Reuters, asking not to be named because of the sensitivity of the matter.

The latest 10-year contract, signed on May 13 between Indian Ports Global Limited (IPGL) and the Port & Maritime Organisation of Iran, replaces the earlier 2016 agreement extending the scope of Indian operations beyond the Shahid Beheshti Terminal.
