The League has incorporated the matches that were postponed in January into the redrawn calendar. Last-minute goal from Romario helped FC Goa to secure a 1-1 draw with Odisha FC in the 2021-22 Indian Super League (ISL) at the Athletic Stadium, here on Tuesday. The result prevented Odisha FC from rising to fifth place in the points table, level on points with Bengaluru FC and Kerala Blasters FC. As for FC Goa, the winless run extends to five games in the division. Goals from Jonathas (61' P) and a last-minute equaliser from Romario (90+5') meant that neither team would take away three points.

Bartholomew Ogbeche added fuel to debate on whether he is the league's finest striker with a poacher's brace on either side of half-time to take him top of the charts in the ISL's all-time scorers' list and also ensure Hyderabad FC remain top of the tree with this win.

After a barren first half, Roshan scored a sumptuous free kick in the 56th minute to break the deadlock as the Bengaluru FC moved to the fourth position having 20 points from 14 games while Kerala remained in third place with 20 points from 12 matches. They lost for the first time since their first game of the season.

The win was single-handedly delivered by the youngest ever hat-trick scorer in ISL, Nassiri (64', 90+2, 90+3'), ironically the son of East Bengal legend Jamshid Nassiri. This was ATKMB's second successive match to be postponed. Earlier, their match against Odisha FC was postponed after an unnamed player reported positive for COVID-19. "Hero Indian Super League (ISL) announces the postponement of the match between ATK Mohun Bagan and Bengaluru FC scheduled to be played on Saturday at PJN Stadium, Fatorda," the ISL said in a statement.

Hernan Santana's delightful free-kick in the second minute of the game failed to hand NorthEast United FC a win as Airan Cabrera's goal in the 39th minute helped Goa to draw the match. There were no goals in the second half, meaning Goa moved up a rung to eighth place with 13 points from 11 games while NorthEast United remained 10th with nine points from 11 games.

The early exchanges saw both teams create half chances as there was little to separate the teams. Arindam Bhattacharja was called into action in the 27th minute after Jordan Murray found space behind the defensive line. The goalkeeper did well to leave the box and make the clearance. No major scoring chances fell to either team until the half-hour mark.
