During a meeting in Hyderabad on Tuesday, the United Forum of Bank Unions also decided to hold a day long 'Dharna' (protest) in all state capitals on February 19 followed by relay 'dharnas' from February 20 to March 10 in all states, districts and towns.

Accordingly, the company's profit after tax grew to Rs 4,940 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 4,146 crore in the quarter ended December 31, 2019. According to the lender, its net interest income (NII) increased by 16 per cent year-on-year to Rs 9,912 crore in Q3-2021 from Rs 8,545 crore in the corresponding quarter of previous quarter.

The company raised Rs 90 crore in debt from Alteria Capital and Rs 49 crore from ICICI Bank. The company has raised a total of Rs 199 crore in debt to date. The company is disbursing loans of Rs 200 crore per month to merchant partners currently and has set a target of disbursing Rs 1,000 crore of loans in the FY21.

The platform 'Infinite India' offers these companies banking solutions as well as value-added services such as incorporation of a business entity, corporate filings, licences and registrations, HR services, compliances and taxation among others. According to the statement, these technology-enabled-services are aimed at strengthening the bank's position in the MNC segment, an important area.

Tuesday's hearing was an additional hearing scheduled to rule on the admissibility of evidence presented before the Westminster Magistrates Court. Modi was remanded in custody till December 1.
