During the meeting held in the national capital, critical issues were deliberated upon, and West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of the Trinamool Congress proposed Mallikarjun Kharge as the Prime Ministerial candidate for the opposition bloc.

Prominent figures among the suspended MPs, such as Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury, Sharad Pawar of NCP, D. Raja from CPI, and Sitaram Yechury from CPM, gathered at Jantar Mantar to voice their discontent.

Political analysts believe that the Samajwadi Party (SP) will participate in the assembly elections in other states also to achieve national recognition. SP is also intensively preparing for assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh, in addition to Uttar Pradesh.

There is no doubt that NDA will contest the elections next year, claiming that it created history by passing the Women's Reservation Bill. But the way the leaders of RJD and JD-U from INDIA are trying to rake up the issue of OBC reservation and caste census in women's reservation, it may put BJP in trouble.

"The Polit Bureau decided to work for the further consolidation and expansion of INDIA bloc to strengthen the efforts to safeguard the secular democratic character of the Indian Republic, the Constitution, Democracy and People’s fundamental rights and civil liberties. This requires that the BJP must be kept away from controlling the Union government and State Power. The Polit Bureau decided to further strengthen these efforts.

The former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh said that discussions regarding the rally are going on with the Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and other allies of the INDIA bloc. He made this statement while addressing a press conference in Bhopal on Saturday.

JD(U) national president Lalan Singh and Bihar minister Ashok Chaudhary described Nitish Kumar as eligible to be the Prime Minister. Choudhary said that apart from Bihar, people of many other states want to see Nitish Kumar as PM. He said that if a survey is conducted, then many people would like Nitish Kumar to become the Prime Minister.

After returning to Patna, the assam Chief minister visited the house of Rituraj Sinha, the convener for BJP northeastern states on Friday evening. He launched a scathing attack on the INDIA bloc and said that those who are raising questions over Sanatan Dharma, the people of the country will give them a befitting reply in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
