Ukrainian, German FMs discuss cooperation in Normandy format

Speaking at a meeting after their talks, Kuleba on Monday said currently, diplomats are preparing for talks of the advisors of the Normandy format, a four-party diplomatic group consisting of Ukraine, Russia, Germany and France, in Berlin. "The preparations for the meeting in Berlin are not easy. But we are working to ensure that, at least after the meeting in Berlin, negotiations at the level of Normandy format advisers continue," the Ukrainian Foreign Minister told reporters.
Biden reaffirms Nord Stream 2 won't advance if Russia invades Ukraine

With visiting German Chancellor Olaf Scholz standing next to him, Biden on Monday told a press conference at the White House that if Russian tanks and troops cross the border and enter Ukraine, "there will be no longer Nord Stream 2," referring to the now-finished pipeline delivering natural gas from Russia to Germany that bypasses Ukraine. He stopped short of explaining how it will be achieved if Germany has reservations for that decision as a deterrence against Moscow.

In a statement on Thursday, the Ministry said that other measures will include the withdrawal of credentials from all staff members at Deutsche Welle's Russian bureau and the launch of a process aimed at identifying Germany's government and public agencies involved in banning RT DE from broadcasting and putting other kinds of pressure on the Russian media outlet, who will eventually be barred from entering Russia, reports TASS News Agency.
US to deploy additional 3,000 troops to Europe amid Ukraine tensions

The incident took place on Monday. The perpetrator, who was dead, used "a long gun to injure several people in a lecture hall," the police said on Twitter.
