Reddit users have been paying for nude images of a fake, AI-generated woman called Claudia. One such image attracted hundreds of comments, with one user writing "you're looking very pretty", with another adding "holy crap, you are beautiful", reports Independent. However, some users spotted the fake images too.

According to analytics firm Apptopia, just this year (through March), 158 such apps have arrived on the app stores. Downloads of AI chatbot apps increased 1,506 per cent, and in-app purchase (IAP) revenue surged 4,184 per cent, year-over-year, in the first quarter. OpenAI has launched a bug bounty programme for ChatGPT and other products, saying the initial priority rating for most findings will use the 'Bugcrowd Vulnerability Rating Taxonomy'.
