Alia posted a picture of Deepika on her Instagram Stories with a note praising the "Padmaavat" star. "Happy birthday DP. You are and always be an inspiration of beauty and strength inside out! and here's to many many more random adventures together... Love you!" Alia captioned the image. In the New Year, Deepika vacationed along with husband Ranveer Singh at an exotic Ranthambore resort in Rajasthan, while Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor were at the same resort.

Rakul has started shooting for "MayDay". The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgn and Angira Dhar, and it marks Ajay's return to direction after "Shivaay" and "U Me Aur Hum". The thriller is expected to release on April 29, 2022.

Varun said: "Yeah, it does (become difficult), but that is the part and parcel of it. You know what you are getting into. You can't behave like, 'oh! you didn't sign up for this'. I mean you know that's going to happen. So I have kind of adapted to it and made peace with it."

The actress has earlier collaborated with Mohit on their 2020 film "Malang". "Starting the new year on the set is the best way to begin the year for me. I am super excited to start the shoot of 'Ek Villan 2' soon and to reunite with Mohit sir," she said. "After 'Malang', I am looking forward to working with him again and start a new journey," she added.

People were extremely tired but on New Year's Eve we decided to celebrate while we were shooting. We had a social bubble party that was also the wrap of Mr. Anupam Kher, so it became like a double bonanza. Like disciplined soldiers we just met and had good dinner on the terrace with a bonfire, and at 12 o'clock after wishing everyone we just left. We had to report for the shoot the next day at 5am, Vivek Agnihotri said.
