IND v BAN, 1st ODI: Rishabh Pant released from ODI squad; to be available for Test series

The BCCI added that Pant is expected to link up with the team ahead of the two-match Test series in Bangladesh starting from December 14 in Chattogram. The absence of Pant means KL Rahul will keep wickets for India in the first ODI at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium (SBNCS) in Mirpur, Dhaka, on Sunday.
Ashok Malhotra, Jatin Paranjape join Sulakshana Naik in new Cricket Advisory Committee

Malhotra has represented India in seven Tests and 20 ODI and recently served as the President of the Indian Cricketers' Association (ICA). Paranjape had played four ODIs for India and was part of the Senior Men's Selection Committee under the chairmanship of MSK Prasad.

The board has reportedly scrapped the selection committee led by former cricketer Chetan Sharma, whose tenure was nearning end. The other members of the panel were Sunil Joshi (South Zone), Harvinder Singh (Central Zone) and Debashish Mohanty (East Zone). The move came days after India's semifinal exit in the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia.
