BCCI extends date for buying ITT for new IPL teams

A BCCI statement said that interested parties can purchase the ITT document on receipt of payment of the "non-refundable tender fee of Rs 10 lakh plus any applicable Goods and Services Tax". All other terms contained in the Invitation document shall be applicable, said the BCCI. The IPL Governing Council had on August 31 this year announced the release of tender to "own and operate" two new IPL teams, which will compete in the 2022 edition of the lucrative tournament.
Appointing Dhoni as mentor is not to undermine anybody: BCCI

The two-time World Cup-winning skipper was named as the mentor for team India for the T20 World Cup, on the heels of the team announcement by the BCCI.

This means that the afternoon match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mumbai Indians in Abu Dhabi will be shifted to the evening slot of Royal Challengers Bangalore and Delhi Capitals in Dubai. Both matches will be played simultaneously at 7:30pm IST (6pm UAE time).

"The Governing Council of the IPL had issued the 'Invitation to Tender' ("ITT") document available on payment of the non-refundable tender fees on August 31, 2021. The invitation to purchase the ITT document ("Invitation"), issued on August 31, 2021, is attached as Annexure A," Shah said in a statement.
BCCI announces schedule for India's busy home season in 2021/22

New Zealand and Sri Lanka will visit India for two Tests and three T20Is each in November 2021 and March 2022 respectively. West Indies will tour India for three ODIs and as many T20Is in February 2022. In between the home season, India is scheduled to tour South Africa in December-January for an all-formats series.

The second leg of IPL 2021 resumes in the UAE on Sunday. Since its inception in 2008, the IPL has become the most extravagant T20 league in the world. But the women's version of the league has been confined to three editions of an exhibition tournament named "Women's T20 Challenge" since 2018. To date, no exact details of the series or the final Test have been given either by the Indian cricket board (BCCI) or the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB). However, there is a lot of speculation since then. And the latest one is that the ECB has now written to the world cricket governing body, ICC, to decide the fate of the cancelled fifth Test at Old Trafford; further indicating that the two cricket boards are far from settling the issue.
BCCI asks England board to reschedule the final Test

India lead the series 2-1 after four Tests. "In lieu of the strong relationship between BCCI and ECB, the BCCI has offered to ECB a rescheduling of the cancelled Test match. Both the Boards will work towards finding a window to reschedule this Test match," said the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in a statement. The BCCI along with the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) had earlier jointly decided to call off the fifth Test scheduled at Old Trafford in Manchester.
