Adani Enterprises shares up nearly 5%, Co commits Rs 10k cr investment in Bengal

Adani Green shares up 5% as Co becomes 10th largest on BSE
On Tuesday, the shares of the company settled 5.1 per cent higher at Rs 2,800. Notably, the Adani Group company became the 10th largest firm on the Bombay Stock Exchange in terms of market capitalisation. Commonly referred to as market cap, market capitalisation is the aggregate valuation of the company based on its current share price and the total number of outstanding stocks.

Shares of Adani Group cos surge after $2 bn foreign investments
Adani Green Energy shares were locked in the 20 per cent upper circuit, Adani Transmission locked in at 10 per cent upper circuit, and Adani Enterprises rose 0.4 per cent. Analysts attribute the rise in share prices with International Holding Company PJSC (IHC), the Abu Dhabi-based conglomerate's investment of $2 billion as primary capital in these Adani Group companies.

Adani Power shares at 10% upper circuit
Notably, the power producer company has doubled its investors' money in 2022. So far in the current calendar year, it rose 101 per cent. On Friday, the shares were locked in the upper circuit at Rs 203.6, as against Rs 101.3 in early January. According to reports, India's power consumption grew steadily to 126.12 billion units in March, which is up by 4.6 per cent year-on-year.
Adani Power shares up 14%, merger plans lent support
Shares of Adani Power jumped sharply on Tuesday as they extended their rally into the sixth consecutive session. The consistent rally in the shares came at a time when the company approved an amalgamation scheme for the merger of its six wholly-owned subsidiaries with itself. On March 22, the company, through a regulatory filing, announced about the merger plan, which is, however, subject to requisite approvals.

Adani Wilmar shares extend gains, rise 9%
Shares of FMCG company Adani Wilmar extended gains from the previous session to rise sharply on Tuesday. The shares of the company have seen rising since the war in Ukraine broke out. It is expected India's sunflower imports will be hit as both Russia and Ukraine are the major suppliers of sunflower oil to India.
