Adani Group Strongly Refutes Fake Press Releases About Its Kenyan Presence

There are numerous fabricated press releases on the group's presence in Kenya, which a set of some "vested interests with malicious intent" have been circulating around.

The Adani Group on Monday vehemently denied fraudulent press releases circulating in the internet concerning its presence in Kenya, adding that it will take legal action against anyone involved in spreading the false narratives.

"We hereby categorically state that neither the Adani Group nor any of its companies or subsidiaries have issued any Press Releases related to Kenya," the Group spokesperson pointed out.

We totally abhor this act of lies and all are hereby asked to believe none of these fake bogus fraudulent releases ," the statement added.

"The Group will legally approach those involved in spreading false narratives," it said.

The Group also appeals to the "media and influencers to verify facts and sources before publishing or broadcasting any articles or news on the Adani Group.".

Last week, the Adani Group rejected and denied baseless claims it said were levelled against assertions by US short-seller Hindenburg Research that Swiss authorities had frozen its funds.
Contradictons earlier: Rebuking the claims, the Adani Group spokesman denied the baseless claims.

"We absolutely reject and reject all frivolous allegations made. The Adani Group has no interest whatsoever in any case pertaining to itself before any court in Switzerland. No account of our companies has ever been attached pursuant to an order of any authority," the company spokesperson had said.
The Adani Group remains "steadfastly committed to transparency and compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements," the spokesperson noted.
