Barely after a fortnight,the Prime Minister is going to hit the ground again - this time at Dharamshala, the second most important hill town in the state's Kangra district. He is planning a road show in the town, which is on the international map as it is the abode of the revered Tibetan spiritual icon, His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

Both the Rajya Sabha nominees are Padma Shri awardees. "I am very happy to inform you that the Aam Aadmi Party is nominating two Padma Shri awardees as members of the Rajya Sabha... one environmentalist Padma Shri Sant Balbir Singh Seenchewal, the other Padma Shri Vikramjit Singh Sahni is related to Punjabi culture... my best wishes to both," Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann said in a tweet.

As per latest reports, two five-storey under construction buildings were being demolished. "The building was being constructed for the past one year," a local said. The AAP MLA was seen talking to the police officials. While speaking to the media, he accused the civic agency of demolishing the houses of poor people.

"The FIR has been registered on the complaint of SDMC under Section 186 (obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions), 353 (assault or criminal force to deter public servant from discharge of his duty) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code," DCP (southeast), Esha Pandey, said.

In a latest development, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is now engaged in discussions with other Opposition parties, leaving aside the Congress, on the possible strategy for the Presidential elections. AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal recently met the leaders of Trinamool Congress and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) to discuss the poll strategy.

The NCR accessed by IANS was filed with the cyber police station under Section 500 of the IPC by the IT head of Bhartiya Janta Yuva Morcha, Abhishek Dubey, who accused the AAP leaders of misleading the people and defaming the saffron party. Speaking with IANS, Dubey said that it was Raghav Chadha who tweeted against his party, while Atishi also tweeted derogatory words and levelled baseless allegations and hence he decided to lodge a case against them.

It was a political start-up which made its first mark by winning the Kizhakkambalam gram panchayat in Kerala. Currently, Twenty20 is in power in four neighbouring panchayats, and has been ruling the local bodies with a clear majority.
