Unveiling Apple's Latest MacBook Air: Powered by the M3 Chip

According to the company's statement, the MacBook Air equipped with the M3 chip delivers a significant performance boost, being up to 60 percent faster than its predecessor with the M1 chip and a remarkable 13 times swifter than the fastest Intel-based MacBook Air.

Apple has introduced a fresh iteration of the MacBook Air on Monday, boasting the robust M3 chip. Available in 13-inch and 15-inch variants, these devices showcase a sleek and lightweight design, alongside impressive features such as up to 18 hours of battery life, a Liquid Retina display, and enhanced capabilities.

Among the new features, users can now enjoy support for up to two external displays and Wi-Fi speeds that are twice as fast as the previous generation.

Greg Joswiak, Apple's senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, emphasized the versatility of the new MacBook Air, catering to diverse needs ranging from students pursuing their education to business professionals seeking productivity tools. Joswiak praised the device's blend of performance, portability, and exceptional battery life, all within a fanless design.

The new MacBook Air with M3 chip is available for pre-order now and is slated to arrive on March 8. Pricing starts at Rs 114,900 for the 13-inch model and Rs 134,900 for the 15-inch model, with discounted rates available for educational purchases.

Moreover, the company announced a price adjustment for the 13-inch MacBook Air with the M2 chip, now priced at Rs 99,900 for regular customers and Rs 89,900 for educational institutions.

Equipped with a potent 8-core CPU, up to a 10-core GPU, and support for up to 24GB of unified memory, the new MacBook Air enables hardware-accelerated mesh shading and ray tracing, enhancing graphical performance.

Apple highlighted the MacBook Air's compatibility with cloud-based solutions, enabling users to leverage powerful productivity and creative applications that harness the power of AI, including Microsoft Copilot for Microsoft 365, Canva, and Adobe Firefly.
