Drawing parallels with warning labels on cigarette packets, the Prime Minister suggested that similar cautionary measures should be adopted for deepfake videos to alert viewers about their manipulated nature.
Extending warm greetings for Diwali, Gujarati New Year, and Chhath, Modi praised the significance of Chhath, underscoring its broader message beyond sun worship.
Addressing health concerns, he suggested regular medical check-ups for individuals over 40, especially in light of premature deaths among media professionals. Additionally, Modi praised the role of social media in facilitating news verification at the grassroots level.
Expressing gratitude to the media for their support during the Swachch Bharat campaign, he urged them to focus on economic development in smaller cities through their programs.
Emphasizing the "vocal for local" initiative, the Prime Minister encouraged expanding its scope beyond Diwali lamps, indicating a need for its broader application.
In a veiled reference seemingly directed at China, Modi made a remark about Lord Ganesha, stating that their representation with smaller eyes did not align with their traditional portrayal.
Reaffirming his commitment to propelling India towards becoming a developed nation, he highlighted his visit to a tribal village in Madhya Pradesh's Shahdol district as a part of this ongoing mission.
