India 2nd to US in asking Facebook for user data in H2 2020

The restricted access was due to violating Section 69A of the Information Technology Act, 2000, including content against security of the state and public order. "Of these, 10 were restricted temporarily. We also restricted access to 54 items in compliance with court orders," Facebook said on Wednesday in its latest Transparency Report for the July-December period in 2020.
Microsoft to retire iconic Internet Explorer on June 15, 2022

Over the last year, Microsoft is moving away from Internet Explorer support, such as an announcement of the end of IE support by Microsoft 365 online services. "With Microsoft Edge capable of assuming this responsibility and more, the Internet Explorer 11 desktop application will be retired and go out of support on June 15, 2022, for certain versions of Windows 10," the company said in a statement on Wednesday.

Microsoft will not launch lightweight Windows 10X
