Facebook testing Twitter-like 'threads' feature

Social media consultant Matt Navarra first spotted this feature in action. Facebook is currently testing the feature with a small group of "public figures" on the platform.
Apple, Intel become 1st to adopt TSMC's latest chip tech: Report

Both the companies are testing their chip designs with TSMC's 3-nanometre production technology, according to several sources briefed on the matter, with a commercial output of such chips expected to start in the second half of next year. Nanometre refers to the width between transistors on a chip. The smaller the number, the more advanced the chip, but also the more challenging and expensive they are to build.

Twitter planning 'trusted friends' feature: Report

The first would enable people to designate "trusted friends" so some tweets would only be visible to that group. The idea is similar to Instagram's "close friends" feature for Stories. According to an image shared by Twitter designer Andrew Courter, Twitter's version would allow users to toggle the audience much like the way you can choose who can reply to you, reports Engadget.
Facebook asks users if they know any friend becoming 'extremist' online

"This test is part of our larger work to assess ways to provide resources and support to people on Facebook who may have engaged with or were exposed to extremist content, or may know someone who is at risk," Stone was quoted as saying in the report on Thursday.

According to MacRumors, the platform seeks to make itself more relevant in an era dominated by TikTok and YouTube. Koo publishes compliance report for June under new IT rules
