India artificial intelligence market to reach $7.8 bn by 2025
The businesses in India will accelerate the adoption of both AI-centric and AI non-centric applications for the next five years, according to the International Data Corporation (IDC). AI software segment will dominate the market and would grow from $2.8 billion in 2020 at a CAGR of 18.1 per cent by the end of 2025.

Airtel conducts India's first rural 5G trial
The demonstration took place in Bhaipur Bramanan village on the outskirts of Delhi-NCR using 5G trial spectrum allocated to Airtel by the Department of Telecom. The telecom major said that trial showcased the massive potential offered by 5G towards bridging the digital divide by enabling access to high speed broadband through solutions such as 'enhanced mobile broadband' (eMBB) and 'Fixed Wireless Access' (FWA) services.

Dimensity 2000 to be more power efficient than Snapdragon 898: Report
According to a MyDrivers, the Taiwanese chipmaker is gearing up to launch the new Dimensity 2000 at the end of this year at the soonest or in early 2022. The report adds that the new Dimensity 2000 series 5G chip will be a more efficient as well, consuming much lower power than the Snapdragon 898 SoC. Reportedly, the difference between the two chips will be around 20 to 25 per cent, in favour of the MediaTek processor, reports GizmoChina.
