WhatsApp to allow transfer of chats from Android to iPhone

According to WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working on an "import chat history" feature that will let Android users move their chats to an iPhone device. The feature was spotted in development in the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS v22.2.74. Currently, it is not available to everyone at the moment. The voice note that users are listening to will not be dismissed when they swipe back or open a different chat.
Samsung Galaxy A23 may come with 50MP SK Hynix lens

The 50MP sensor on the Galaxy A23 will support Optical Image Stabilization (OIS). It will be accompanied by a 5MP ultra-wide lens, and two 2MP sensors for macro and bokeh shots, reports GizmoChina. According to the industry sources, the Galaxy A23 will also have 4G and 5G versions with different specs sheets.
Google working on AR headset codenamed 'Project Iris'

According to two people familiar with the project, Google has recently begun ramping up work on an AR headset, internally codenamed Project Iris, that it hopes to ship in 2024, reports The Verge. Google's upcoming device would use outward-facing cameras to blend computer graphics with a video feed of the real world, creating a more immersive, mixed reality experience than existing AR glasses from the likes of Snap and Magic Leap.
Musk's brain implant company 'Neuralink' nears human trials

According to dailymail.co.uk, the firm is hiring a clinical trial director, which says the right candidate will "work closely with some of the most innovative doctors and top engineers, as well as working with Neuralink's first Clinical Trial participants". Elon Musk-run brain-machine interface company Neuralink is preparing to launch clinical trials that will implant brain chips in humans.
Call of Duty will stay on Sony PlayStation, confirms Microsoft

In a tweet, Microsoft Gaming CEO Phil Spencer said that CoD does have a future on Sony platforms. "Had good calls this week with leaders at Sony. I confirmed our intent to honour all existing agreements upon acquisition of Activision Blizzard and our desire to keep Call of Duty on PlayStation," said Spencer. Sony has a CoD deal in place with Activision for more than five years.
Spotify losing global music streaming market share: Report

In Q2 2021, Spotify owned 31 per cent of the global DSP streaming market -- down from 33 per cent in 2020 and 34 per cent in 2019. With Apple Music being a distant second with 15 per cent market share, and Spotify adding more subscribers in the 12 months leading up to Q2 2021 than any other single DSP, there is no risk of Spotify losing its leading position anytime soon. But the erosion of its (Spotify's) share is steady and persistent, according to entertainment research firm MIDiA.
Samsung confirms February Unpacked event for Galaxy S22

"Metaverse is a digital 'New World' with infinite possibilities," Yonhap News Agency quoted Science and ICT Minister Lim Hye-sook as saying, noting that the government will work closely with the industry and relevant ministries. The metaverse refers to a shared virtual space in which users interact with each other through digital avatars and experience a virtual reality (VR) world.
