Apple, Ericsson patent dispute escalates into Europe

In what originally seemed like a near repeat of their 2015 patent battles, Apple and Ericsson have already been suing each other in the US over 5G technology, reports AppleInsider. The number of suits has now increased, however, since Ericsson's first filing, as soon as all of its previous deals with Apple had expired. Apple's initial countersuit was filed in the US, but specifically with the US International Trade Commission (ITC).

 Lenovo has announced that it will launch its new gaming smartphone 'Legion Y90' soon and now a new report has claimed that the device may come with 22GB of total RAM, 18GB of which will be true physical RAM as well as 4GB virtual. According to reliable tipster Pandaisbald, the device may come with 640GB, made possible by actually combining two separate 512GB and 128GB sticks, reports GizmoChina.

Apple fined $5.6 mn per week over policies for Dutch dating apps

Apple made updates to its app store policies in response to an earlier order by the Netherlands Authority for Consumers and Markets (ACM) but the watchdog found it to be unsatisfactory. ACM informed Apple that if it fails to adhere to its order, it will have to pay each week a penalty payment of 5 million euros up to a maximum of 50 million euros.
Google to soon block ad targeting for people under 18

China-based BOE to supply displays for iPhone 15 Pro in 2023

China-based display maker BOE will reportedly supply Apple with OLED LTPO displays for the higher-end models of the iPhone 15 lineup in 2023. According to The Elec, the Chinese display maker will be producing and supplying OLED LTPO panels to the Cupertino based giant next year. The company was previously unsuccessful in supplying OLED screens for the iPhone 12 series, but did manage to enter supply chain for the current gen flagship iPhone 13 lineup.
