Even as Musk backs Epic Games and calls Apple's App Store, "a de facto global tax", it's said that Tesla is working on its own rival, reports AppleInsider. Rumours were initially started when Tesla released an update that allowed for a customisable icon bar at the foot of the touchscreen.

NFT, short for Non-Fungible Token, allows film producers and companies to buy and sell movie rights through advanced and secure blockchain technology. Initially, Oracle Movies will provide its services to Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and English film producers and IP rights holders, the promoters said. Thereafter, the services will be extended to other languages across the country.

UK watchdog fines Meta $2 mn over Giphy acquisition
According to the CMA, Meta failed to notify the regulator about the resignation of three key employees and the reallocation of their roles. In November, the UK anti-trust watchdog had ordered Meta to sell Giphy, as the acquisition could harm social media users and UK advertisers. Facebook had moved to buy the online GIF platform in May 2020.
Twitter to let you send Direct Message straight from a tweet
Twitter feels the feature will make it easier to start a conversation from your timeline. "For when you want to reply directly to a Tweet's author, we're making it easier to DM them from your timeline to start a conversation," said the micro-blogging platform. "Now testing a DM icon on Tweets with some of you on iOS," it added. The test, however, has alerted civil servants and public safety experts.

$4.4 mn stolen in attack on blockchain infrastructure Meter
The company said it manages an infrastructure that allows smart contracts to scale and travel through heterogeneous blockchain networks. The Meter network, as well as the Moonriver network, were affected by the hack, reports ZDNet. Blockchain research company PeckShield confirmed that 1391 ETH and 2.74 BTC were stolen during the incident, the report said.
Apple begins mass production of iPhone SE 3, iPad Air 5: Report
According to the Japanese blog Mac Otakara, the new iPhone SE will retain the same chassis design as the current model released in 2020, and the device will apparently continue to lack support for MagSafe accessories. The new iPad Air is also expected to launch with Apple's A15 Bionic chip, a 12MP Ultra-Wide front camera with Center Stage, Quad-LED True Tone flash, and 5G support on cellular models.
