Apple launches Oceanic+ app on Watch Ultra
In a blogpost on Monday, Apple said the new app turns the watch into a powerful and easy-to-use dive computer.The basic plan of Oceanic+ is free which provides basic functions, including depth and time and logging recent dives. But to access more advanced features, the plan costs Rs 969 per month and annually for Rs 7,700.

US judge stops Amazon from firing employees for unionisation
The order by US District Court Judge Diane Gujarati now prevents the company from terminating employees over their unionisation efforts. The order came after Amazon made "management changes" at its Staten Island warehouse in New York in May this year, resulting in firing over half a dozen managers. The court injunction was issued based on a petition filed by Kathy Drew King, former regional director of Region 29 of the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) in the US.

During a media briefing, a White House spokesperson said late on Monday that the relevant authorities are "keeping track of" what is going on Twitter at the moment. "We're certainly keeping an eye on it. We have always been very clear that when it comes to social media platforms, it is their responsibility to make sure that when it comes to misinformation and hate that we're seeing, they take action and they continue to take action again and again," the spokesperson told the media persons.
Apple iPhone 15 may feature 'state of the art' image sensor from Sony
Sony's image sensor will double the saturation signal in each pixel when compared to standard sensors, enabling it to capture more light to reduce underexposure and overexposure, reports MacRumors. For instance, it can capture a person's face more effectively even in situations with strong backlighting. It is still unclear whether all of the iPhone 15 models will use the new sensor technology, or the tech giant will limit it to the higher-end Pro models.
Apple threatens to withhold Twitter from App Store: Musk
Musk's allegation came shortly after he tweeted late Monday night that Apple has "mostly stopped advertising on" Twitter following a poll that asked users about whether the iPhone maker should "publish all censorship actions it has taken that affect its customers". In a series of tweets, Musk said: "Apple has also threatened to withhold Twitter from its App Store, but won't tell us why.

Amazon now shuts wholesale distribution biz in India
The e-commerce major is discontinuing Amazon Distribution, its wholesale e-commerce website available in some parts of Bengaluru, Mysore and Hubli. The company earlier shut down its food delivery and online learning platform called Academy in India. "We don't take these decisions lightly. We are discontinuing this programme in a phased manner to take care of current customers and partners," a company spokesperson said in a statement.
