Tesla board 'probed' Musk's plan to build lavish glass house for himself

According to the Wall Street Journal, Tesla planned "Project 42" last year which called for a dramatic and unusual glass-walled building for Musk to come up near the automaker's headquarters in Texas. The secret project included renderings of a glass box with residential features, such as bedrooms, bathrooms and a kitchen, the report claimed, citing sources.
Meta introduces real-time avatar calls for Instagram, Messenger

This feature will be helpful when users don't want to show their real faces during video calls and want a third option between camera-off and camera-on, the company said in a blogpost on Tuesday. The company also mentioned that users can share animated avatar stickers in Instagram and Facebook Stories and Reels, Facebook comments, and 1:1 message threads on Messenger and Instagram.
Google sued for allegedly stealing data from users to train its AI models

The lawsuit said Google also violated copyright laws in order to train and develop its AI products, reports CNN. The class-action suit was filed on Tuesday against Google, its parent company Alphabet, and AI subsidiary DeepMind in a federal court in California and was brought by Clarkson Law Firm.

Elon Musk begins restricting Threads search on Twitter

A user on Threads posted, "Twitter is selectively blocking searches for tweets that link to Threads, even though they allow posting Threads URLs (for now)."  However, the behaviour is also being widely reported by Twitter users, reports The Verge. The issue was discovered while searching for links to a specific URL with the "url:" search operator.

Non-TikTok users consider it a national security threat: Report

According to Pew Research Center, only 17 per cent of Americans said that the platform is not a threat to national security, and another 23 per cent were not sure. About nine per cent of TikTok users see the platform as a major threat, while 36 per cent of non-users feel the same, plus 42 per cent of users see the service as any kind of risk, and 65 per cent of outsiders are concerned.
