According to a post shared on various social media platforms, OpenAI detailed the improvements, emphasizing a more streamlined and concise communication style. The company highlighted enhancements in various areas including writing, mathematics, logical reasoning, and coding.
Trained on extensive datasets available up to December of the previous year, the new AI model promises more direct and conversational responses, reflecting OpenAI's commitment to refining user experience.
OpenAI reiterated its dedication to continuous improvement, expressing anticipation for the innovative applications users will discover with these upgraded capabilities. The availability of GPT-4 Turbo spans across different subscription tiers, including ChatGPT Plus, Team, Enterprise, and the API.
Meanwhile, reports surfaced alleging that OpenAI transcribed over a million hours of YouTube videos to train GPT-4. Although this method raised legal concerns, OpenAI defended its approach, citing it as a form of fair use. A spokesperson clarified the company's strategy, stating the utilization of various data sources, both public and non-public, to uphold its competitive edge in global AI research.
