London-based consumer tech brand Nothing has announced the launch of the first smartphone under its CMF sub-brand, the CMF Phone 1. Sharing the development on X, the company said, "Introducing CMF Phone 1. Exceptional by design. Leveraging @nothing's innovation and meticulous focus on design details, it makes for a perfect entry point to our entire product ecosystem."
"Others are not paying this category any attention; we are. Full attention. Coming soon," the announcement added.
This comes after the confirmation by CEO Carl Pei that the Nothing Phone (3) will not be launched until 2025.
Nothing unveiled the CMF sub-brand last year with three products: earbuds, a smartwatch, and a charger.
Nothing last month also announced that it would be integrating OpenAI's AI chatbot, ChatGPT, into all its audio products.
Meanwhile, Nothing has appointed Vishal Bhola as President of its operations in India. Bhola will lead growth for the brand in India, bringing his expertise in consumer technology and strategic business management to the fore.
