Ola's founder and chairman, Bhavish Aggarwal, unveiled India's latest artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot, 'Krutrim AI', on Monday, aiming to compete with industry giants like OpenAI's ChatGPT and Google's Gemini. The AI chatbot is now available in public beta, marking a significant step forward for Ola.

The chatbot boasts multilingual support, catering to users in over 10 Indian languages, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Bengali, Marathi, Kannada, Gujarati, and even Hinglish. Aggarwal hailed the launch of Krutrim as the dawn of a new era in India's AI landscape, pledging to drive innovation and shape future trends alongside global counterparts.

This development follows Krutrim's remarkable journey to become the country's fastest unicorn and India's first AI unicorn. The company recently closed its inaugural funding round, securing $50 million in equity from investors like Matrix Partners India, among others, at a valuation of $1 billion.
