Smriti Mandhana scores half-ton as India women thrash England to level T20I series 1-1
The 53-ball 79 from Smriti Mandhana was enough for India to chase down a competitive 142/6 from England for the loss of just two wickets and with 20 balls to spare. The deciding third T20I will be played at Bristol on Thursday, following which the focus will shift to the One-day International series beginning at Hove on September 18.

13-year-old Ishti Kaur wins gold medal in International powerlifting championship
Ishti kaur participated in the teenage group and won gold medal by lifting 75 kg deadlift in the 38 kg category. She lifted twice her bodyweight and also being awarded best lifter in women teenage category. A student of class 9th in GD Goenka public school, Ishti kaur is being coached by her father Daljeet Singh, a multiple time world champion in powerlifting.
