Rahul Dravid's probation as coach begins now, in Sri Lanka
So far, the former India captain has coached the India ‘A' and national Under-19 teams, and is working as the Head of Cricket at the Bengaluru-based National Cricket Academy (NCA) of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Dravid, 48, has come through apprenticeship with flying colours as a coach, a vocation he took up after his retirement, after having tried his hand at TV commentary.
World Cup: Manu, Chaudhary clinch silver in mixed 10m air pistol

Prakash becomes 1st Indian to automatically qualify for Oly swimming
Prakash clocked 1 minutes 56.38 seconds in the Sette Colli swimming competition. This timing was better than the Olympics 'A' qualification time of 1:56.48 secs. He is the first ever Indian swimmer to have achieved 'A' qualifying standard in the history of Indian swimming. The Olympic qualifying deadline is June 27.

Alex de Minaur wins Eastbourne title
Breaks were exchanged early in a tight opening set in which both won 68 per cent of their first-service points. Sonego gained a crucial break in the tenth game to clinch the first set 6-4. Australia's de Minaur fought back in the second set, taking a 2-0 lead and then won the set. The deciding set was a tough affair that went into tie-break. In the tie-breaker, de Minaur moved to 5-2.

Kesper Dolberg (27th minute, 48th minute), Joakim Maehle (88th) and Martin Braithwaite (90+4th) were the scorers in a contest that became one-sided as the game progressed. Wales, who fielded the playing XI that had beaten Turkey in the league phase, started confidently but failed to build on it.
Daniil Medvedev wins Mallorca Open for his first title on grass
The tournament acts as a warm-up for Wimbledon, which begins on Monday. Medvedev, who had looked lost after his first-round exit at the Halle Open this month, was in impeccable form, dropping only one set in the entire tournament en route to title victory. He had beaten Corentin Moutet, fifth seed Casper Ruud and fourth seed Pablo Carreno Busta on way to the final.
India got bowling wrong, under-bowled Jadeja, hints Tendulkar
Tendulkar, who holds the record for most runs in Tests and ODIs, said on his Youtube channel that due to lack of sun on the first few days, the spinners never came into play, especially left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja who bowled only 7.2 overs in the first innings. Jadeja though bowled only eight overs in the second innings on the sixth day when sun was out.
Kohli's batting struggles in Tests mental, not technical
While former England captain Nasser Hussain thought his second innings dismissal "was similar to how he was getting dismissed in the 2014 series in England", some Indian cricket experts feel Kohli, after all that he has done in the past, can afford a lean patch during which such dismissals happen.
