Formula 1 confirms race at Italy's Imola circuit until 2025

Italy's Imola circuit will remain on the Formula One calendar until 2025, racing Chief Stefano Domenicali confirmed on Monday. This follows two successful Grands Prix in Imola during the pandemic and the inclusion of the race in the 2022 championship. Imola first hosted the Italian Grand Prix in 1980 but subsequently became the San Marino Grand Prix venue from 1981-2006. The circuit returned as a Formula 1 venue for the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix in 2020.
IPL 2022: Rahmanullah Gurbaz likely to replace Jason Roy at Gujarat Titans

It will be the first IPL stint for Gurbaz, who had a base price of Rs 50 lakh and went unsold at the IPL auction in February. He will be joining compatriots Rashid Khan and Noor Ahmad in the Gujarat team. While Rashid had been acquired by the franchise pre-auction, Noor, who recently featured in the Under-19 World Cup, was bought in the auction.
Sindhu, Srikanth enter the second round of 2022 German Open

Axar Patel added to India's squad for day-night Test against Sri Lanka

The all-rounder has completed his rehab and has been cleared by the BCCI Medical Team. The Bengaluru match is a day-night Test. Axar is likely to slot straight into the XI in Jayant's place if India persist with a three-spinner attack, given his outstanding record over his first five Tests, in which he has picked up 36 wickets at an average of 11.86. Meanwhile, the BCCI also said that Kuldeep Yadav has been released from the squad for the second Test.
This 21-year-old is India's youngest licenced sky diver

It is an unusual profession for a woman but a 21-year-old budding engineer from Prayagraj has become the youngest Indian woman to bag a licence for professional sky-diving. Anamika Sharma, the younger of the two daughters of junior warrant officer (retired) Ajay Kumar Sharma, first jumped from a height of 10,000 feet when she was just 11 years old.

Horse-racing aficionados in Australia will be keeping a close eye on the Maiden Plate fixture here on Wednesday as legendary spinner Shane Warne's steed 'Sacred Oath' will be in contention for the top prize in the race. Warne, one of the all-time cricket greats, passed away last week on the island of Koh Samui in Thailand, where he was vacationing, following a suspected heart-attack. He will be given a state funeral by the state of Victoria later this month.

It is still the surface I feel the most comfortable [on], so I think it is the perfect time to start there."
