Although wickets fell at the other end, Prabhsimran managed to find the boundaries and kept the scoreboard ticking. He was able to accelerate the scoring in the latter part of the innings, hitting Mitchell Marsh for two sixes and one four in an over that yielded 21 runs. He reached his fifty in 42 balls and then went on to score his century off 61 balls.

Despite losing partners, Prabhsimran continued to take on the Delhi bowlers and played some excellent shots. However, he was dismissed soon after reaching his century by Mukesh Kumar, who also bowled a tight over to give away only three runs.
