Cricket Australia has announced the creation of special seating areas for Indian cricket fans in all five venues to be used in the highly-anticipated Border-Gavaskar Trophy. The venues include the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) and Sydney Cricket Ground (SCG).
As part of Cricket Australia's Multicultural Action Plan, these fan zones are intended to create an inclusive environment for Indian fans, promising to electrify the stadiums, the official release from Cricket Australia said.
Further details concerning the India Fan Zones will be released in coming days, the release said.
The men's Test series between India and Australia will get underway on November 22 in Perth, followed by a Day-Night Test in Adelaide on December 6.
From there, the two teams will square off in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy at the Gabba on December 14, followed by the traditional Boxing Day Test at the MCG, and finishing with the Pink Test at the SCG on January 3.
