During the wedding ceremony of Harshita Kejriwal, daughter of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Arvind Kejriwal, the ex-Delhi Chief Minister and his wife, Sunita Kejriwal, were spotted dancing to the chartbuster song 'Angaro Ka Ambar Sa' from the highly awaited movie Pushpa 2: The Rule.
The colorful moment, caught in a video posted by news agency PTI, featured the couple dancing together to the hit number sung originally by Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna.
The engagement took place on Thursday night at Delhi’s Shangri-La Hotel and remained a close-knit affair, attended by immediate family and a few select guests, including Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann. The celebrations led up to the wedding, which was held on April 18 at Kapurthala House, the official residence of the Punjab CM when he visits the national capital.
Harshita and her fiancé, Sambhav Jain, initially met at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, where she studied Chemical Engineering. Harshita graduated in 2018 and joined Boston Consulting Group in Gurugram, while Sambhav, who is now a project management consultant in the private sector, has entrepreneurial inclinations like her. The couple also co-founded a healthcare startup called Basil Health, reflecting their common interest in innovation and public good.
The celebration not only marked a personal achievement for the Kejriwal family but also gave a glimpse into the private lives of the high-profile political leader and his family, which is rare.
