UP BJP to Kick Off 'Shukriya Modi Bhaijaan' Campaign Starting Monday

Basit Ali, the president of Uttar Pradesh BJP's minority cell, emphasized that people from all communities have benefited from the government's schemes since 2014.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to kick off the 'Shukriya Modi Bhaijaan' campaign in Uttar Pradesh, targeting a connection with Muslim women within the party. The campaign, with the tagline "Na doori hai naa khai hain, Modi hamare bhai hain (there is no wedge or divide between us, Modi is our brother)," aims to express gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the development and welfare schemes initiated by the BJP government.

Basit Ali, the president of Uttar Pradesh BJP's minority cell, emphasized that people from all communities have benefited from the government's schemes since 2014. He highlighted the positive impact on Muslim women, stating, "The BJP government worked for the empowerment of Muslim women who lagged behind."

The 'Shukriya Modi Bhaijaan' campaign will be launched in Lucknow on January 15, with Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, BJP state unit president Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary, and former Union Minister Shahnawaz Hussain leading the inauguration on the Christ Church College ground.

Ali pointed out various benefits received by Muslim women, including pucca houses under the Prime Minister Awas Yojana, toilets, free cooking gas under the Ujjawala scheme, Ayushman health cards, and freedom from triple talaq. He emphasized the positive impact of these initiatives on the empowerment of Muslim women.

The campaign will extend across all 75 districts and 80 Lok Sabha seats in Uttar Pradesh, involving 3,000 to 4,000 Muslim women in each program. After the launch in Lucknow, the campaign will feature senior BJP leaders and ministers from Uttar Pradesh, along with prominent Muslim faces within the party.

Previously, the BJP had initiated campaigns to connect with the Pasmanda (backward) Muslim community, resulting in successes in the 2022 Assembly election and urban local bodies' polls. The BJP's efforts to engage with different Muslim communities have been recognized as contributing to electoral victories in these areas.
