During a rally in Bareilly, Union Home Minister Amit Shah made strong statements regarding the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, particularly targeting Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and the Congress party itself. Shah emphasized that while Rahul Gandhi had initiated the Bharat Jodo Yatra, it was now time for a 'Congress Dhoondo Yatra' after June 4.

Attributing the arrogance of the opposition, Shah pointed out Akhilesh Yadav's ambition to be the Chief Minister of UP and the ambition of Sonia Gandhi to see Rahul Gandhi as the Prime Minister, claiming such ambitions as daydreams.

Shah lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, highlighting achievements such as victory in the Ram temple case and the abolition of Article 370, saying that the Congress had left it in place for 70 years. He claimed the former Congress-led government was lax in fighting terrorism, as against Modi's effective response in the Uri and Pulwama attacks, insisting upon swift, decisive military actions under his leadership.
