Sophie Turner, star of 'Game of Thrones', recently let it out that she had mixed feelings about motherhood when she got pregnant for the first time in her early twenties and even considered abortion at the time.
Turner shared her hesitation about keeping the baby and further divulged that she had conversations regarding the whole situation with then-husband Joe Jonas.
Turner was in Bali when she found out that she was pregnant but waited a week before voicing out the news. "Maybe because I was so young, I sat on it for a week," the actress told British Vogue, as per pagesix.com.
Turner describes how she threw the pregnancy test at Joe Jonas and asked him, "What do you think we should do? Do you think we should have it?" The actress confessed that she was unsure about being a mother at that age and took help from therapists to clear her head.
"When you are in your early 20s, life is so frivolous," she reflects. Though hesitant to be a mother at first, talks with Joe brought a turning point in her attitude towards it. "I just knew I had to have her," Turner said about her decision.
Joe and Sophie were blessed with their first baby girl, Willa, in 2020 and their second baby girl, Delphine, in 2022.
Turner has shared the reason for having her second baby: "Because my ex and I travel so much, I wanted Willa to have a sibling. I wanted them to have each other. They're so much fun, total girlie girls, and absolute rays of sunshine in my life."
