The bench clarified its stance, stating no commentary on the case's merits had been made, acknowledging the concession made by the ED prior to arguments.

Previously, the Supreme Court had issued notices to the ED, instructing the bail plea to be combined with Singh's petition challenging his arrest and subsequent remand. The bench deemed Singh's earlier petition against the ED's actions as "infructuous" during Tuesday's proceedings.
