Notably, Akshay Yadav, son of senior SP leader Prof Ram Gopal Yadav, is set to contest the Firozabad seat, while Shivpal Yadav will represent the Badaun constituency. There's speculation that party chief Akhilesh Yadav may personally contest from Azamgarh.

Although AIMIM Uttar Pradesh President Shaukat Ali initially proposed contesting elections across 20 Lok Sabha seats in 2024, only these seven have been finalized for the upcoming electoral battle.
