Sonia Gandhi, Chairperson of the Congress Parliamentary Party (CPP), emphasized during a significant rally in Jaipur for the launch of the 'Nyay' manifesto for the Lok Sabha 2024 elections that India is not the exclusive possession of a select few but rather belongs to all its citizens, echoing the sentiment that our forebears have nurtured the nation with their sacrifices.

Joining Gandhi, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge criticized PM Modi's penchant for claiming credit without substantial achievements, questioning the unfulfilled promises such as the pledge to generate two crore jobs annually and the infamous assurance of depositing Rs 15 lakh into every citizen's account.

Kharge further underscored the disparity between PM Modi's rhetoric and reality, pointing out the significant contributions of the Congress in infrastructure development, juxtaposed with Modi's claims of transformative progress.

Priyanka Gandhi, Congress General Secretary, echoed concerns over escalating unemployment and lambasted the government's failure to address the issue effectively. She particularly criticized the Agnipath scheme for dashing the aspirations of countless youth aiming to join the Armed Forces and lamented the prevalence of paper leaks exacerbating the job crisis.

Highlighting the rising inflation and recent reduction in LPG cylinder prices ahead of elections, Priyanka Gandhi also criticized the Rajasthan government's decision to curtail health insurance benefits under the Chiranjivi scheme, reducing coverage from Rs 25 lakh to Rs 5 lakh, further exacerbating the plight of citizens.
